L'Autre Coin​

 

The entrance to L’Autre Coin opens into a beautiful, large lower-level hallway with plenty of hanging and storage space. The three bedrooms and downstairs bath and shower room all open off the hallway, along with a spacious utility room with sink and separate washing machine and tumble dryer.

All three bedrooms have super king size zip-and-link beds which can be reconfigured as twin beds, upon request. The master bedroom has an en-suite bath and shower room and built-in wardrobes with vanity unit. The second bedroom has an en-suite shower room, built-in wardrobes and vanity unit. The third bedroom has the same built-in wardrobes and vanity unit, with a separate bath and shower room across the hallway.

The staircase leading to the upper floor has automatic lighting that comes on when in use as the natural daylight fades. It leads into a huge, open-plan living area and the spacious kitchen’s breakfast bar looks across the top of the staircase into the lounge and dining areas. The kitchen is equipped to a very high standard with an electric fan oven and hob, large fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher, food larder and lots of cupboard space with all the mod-cons you may need.

The lounge has ample comfortable seating, an electric log-effect fireplace and extra-large television with cinematic appeal. The dining  area has a long dining table with seating for ten, so it can seat plenty should you decide to book Chez Nous as a companion house. Both the lounge and dining areas have east and south-facing double size patio doors that open onto the decked balcony and provide stunning views directly out to sea and towards the coast of France. On a clear night, the whole horizon is ablaze with distant lights. The high apex ceiling has electrically operated Velux windows that let in extra light and clear views of the dark night skies Sark is known for.

Outside, there is a separate staircase leading up to the decked walk-around balcony along with a ground level patio and garden area. There is outside seating, a bike park and also a BBQ.
